I do think that it's best suited for the autumn season but for winter? Maybe it's not a good idea. Don't you think that the clothing is too thin for the harsh cold season? I think you can work it out by wearing a thick jacket that complements the look of the outfit. Try a white oversize jacket that can cover up to your sleeves and put a black comfortable scarf to perfect the look. Make sure to choose the right colors so that you wouldn't look over dressed.
